COVID-19 has shown no sign of going away. As COVID-19 is a respiroatory virus, please read the following information about respiratory infection & how Stone Guardian will be conducting services to reduce the spread.
Respiratory illness is spread through the air when expelled from an infected individual. This spread is increased during coughing and sneezing but can be reduced by taking certain precautions. This policy explains these precautions and must be followed to receive care and/or education at Stone Guardian.
Masking
In the event a staff member, student or client has respiratory symptoms, infection is assumed and a mask that covers the mouth & nose is required. Symptoms include but are not limited to coughing, sneezing and runny nose. In the event a staff member, student or client is confirmed to be ill they are asked to cancel their appointment(s) and to stay home until such time as they are well.
Staff Practices
Stone Guardian staff will follow the best practices to promote hygiene and sanitary conditions. This includes but is not limited to hand washing, sanitization of surfaces that may come into contact with infected staff and/or clients and the operation of UV-C air purifiers at all times of clinic operations.
Vaccination
The spread of respiratory infection can be reduced through regular vaccination against known viruses, while this is not a reduction to zero it does help reduce the spread of respiratory infection. Stone Guardian staff are fully vaccinated and boosted against these known viruses, including but not limited to influenza and COVID-19. Stone Guardian encourages but does not require vaccination by students or clients.
