Tyrell Group

A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization
and
A Stone Guardian Partner

The goal of the Tyrell Group is to primarily benefit underserved, lower income, culturally diverse populations, while also providing advanced education for recently licensed Acupuncturists.

The Tyrell Group provides care access to these underserved populations by providing low to zero cost non-pharmaceutical pain management by utilizing a combination of Orthopedic Acupuncture and traditional Chinese manual therapy. The specific populations we seek to serve include those on Medicaid and Medicare, our nation’s Veterans as well as the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Many of these people find themselves unable to access complementary healthcare either due to lack of medical coverage or lack of inclusive access.

The advanced training for the salaried Apprentices that we take on will better prepare them as Acupuncturists to benefit these underserved populations by becoming better equipped to help people out of pain and be more well rounded healthcare providers by seeing the value in providing access to a more economically and culturally diverse population than typically has access to this type of complementary healthcare provider.

We will also soon reinvesting revenue that goes beyond our operating costs back into the communities we serve. This will take the form of additional low to zero cost care and cultural competency workshops for our staff, apprentices and the public at large.

The Tyrell Group is currently seeking funding to implement the above goals. This will be in the form of grants and partnerships beyond Stone Guardian Acupuncture. Soon you will also be able to make a tax deductible donation here on our website, or at one of our fundraising events. All of which will be made public here.

While the Tyrell Group does work closely with Stone Guardian Acupuncture it is its own organization. While the views, positions and goals do often align with those of Stone Guardian Acupuncture, it should not be taken as one and the same.
